The Automobile Association of Bangladesh (AAB) has officially launched the National Esports Sim Racing Championship 2025, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s motorsport landscape. This championship aims to bridge the gap between traditional motorsport and the digital racing arena, offering a platform for drivers of all levels to showcase their skills.
The competition kicks off with time attack-based qualifying rounds, where participants will compete to set the fastest lap times. Successful qualifiers will advance to the championship rounds, which will be held on four iconic circuits:
- Silverstone Circuit
- Nürburgring GP
- Misano World Circuit
- Circuit Zandvoort
These tracks are renowned in the global racing community and will test the drivers’ precision, strategy, and adaptability.
To promote inclusivity and recognize talent across different demographics, the championship features multiple classes:
- Gold Class (Pro)
- Silver Class (Pro-Am)
- Women’s Class
- Junior Class
This structure ensures that both seasoned professionals and emerging talents have the opportunity to compete on an even playing field.
A total prize pool of ৳75,000 BDT is up for grabs, providing not only financial incentives but also national recognition for the top performers. Winners will gain prestige within Bangladesh’s growing motorsport community and may open doors to further opportunities in the international sim racing scene.
The championship will utilize Assetto Corsa Competizione, a leading racing simulator known for its realistic physics and immersive gameplay. AAB will host dedicated servers to ensure a smooth and competitive racing environment for all participants.
