Small Touch of JDM Vanning in Bangladesh

Toyota Hiace VIP Sal Sabeel Cars Auto Rebellion

Japan Car Culture is known for wide classes of customization, be its performance or looks! Vans are the saviours of Japanese men! When that time comes to sell off their sports car and start setting up a family the car enthusiast must put that love of anything performance oriented aside for a couple of decades. That’s where vans come into it. Offered in all sorts of sizes from pretty much every single Japanese car maker they offer the space and hauling capacity that’s needed by a family, but being Japan there is a ton of options out there to fully deck out one’s MPV. This particular culture is termed as “Vanning”.

From the impressive selection of body kit manufacturers, wheel companies cater to this immense slice of the aftermarket sector with wheels specifically designed and sized to fit things like the Toyota Alphard, Vellfire and Noah, Hiace to the Nissan Elgrand and Serena. The options don’t end there, most like to run quilted leather seat covers and a massive flip down rear screen, then finish off the exterior with a gazillion LED lights that turn your family hauler into something out of Tron.

Few days back we saw a post on Sal Sabeel Cars’ facebook page about a Hiace. Unlike the typical vanning Hiace we see on the net, the Sal Sabeel Cars imported Toyota Hiace didn’t had any vanning identification on the exterior. But the interior did carry some DNA of JDM Vanning, with custom upholstery and the passenger compartment boasts VIP styled leather seats. The seats have electric reclining functions for effective and comfortable long journeys. The seats can be rotated and arranged manually for a meeting (face to face seating) set up. Now that’s like a limo meeting on the move! The custom interior padding ensures very good sound and heat insolation. For the entertainment it has an Alpine DVD player installed in the roof. From roof to the floor, This Hiace comes with wooden floor as well.

Sal Sabeel Cars was very kind enough to let us take some pictures of this small piece of JDM Vanning in our country. You can check out the car in person at Sal Sabeel Car House, House # 07, Road # 08, Gulshan 1.
