The New E-Class- Taking Executive Saloon Comfort To A New Height
Every brand has its darling. For BMW, it’s the 3-series. At Honda, it’s the Accord. And for Mercedes-Benz, it is the E-class, the popular and prolific mid-size luxury car that’s been buttering the bread in Stuttgart for nine vehicle generations, soon to be 10. Rancon Motors Limited today introduced the all-new Mercedes E-Class executive sedan. The exclusive premier show will be held for two days (1st and 2nd of October) at Mercedes-Benz, Bangladesh Showroom. Now, Lets come to the real deal, The new E-Class comes with an S-Class inspired look and feel, with a slippery new design, plush new cabin, ample of comfort, quality and class and on-board technology that’s sure to make it one of the top choices for anyone after a new executive saloon. The slippery design helped the Masterpiece of Intelligence to achieve drag coefficient of just 0.23cd. The new E-Class is longer than the model it replaces ,and the wheelbase has been stretched by 2.5ins so there’s more passenger space, especially in the back.
The interior of the new E-Class is nothing short of a masterpiece. The new Merc’s interior resembles the interior of the company’s flagship saloon, S-Class. The new E-Class even boasts an 8.4ins infotainment screen mounted in the middle of the dashboard. The streering wheel accommodates a scroll wheel and touchpad control the screens. It also includes touch sensitive buttons, meaning the infotainment system can control smartphone, but without ever taking the driver’s hands off the wheel. Adds also a voice control feature too. The interior top features a panoramic sunroof. The seats in the new E-class are electric adjustable with memory functions.

The New E-Class is propelled by a range of updated engines; The range of petrol engines will comprise four cylinder versions with output ranging from 184 HP (E 200) to 245 HP and a six cylinder with 333 HP (E 400). All petrol and diesel engines has turbo and direct injection.
The New E-Class is said to be offered in two grades for the Bangladesh market- AMG pack and Exclusive Line. The AMG package will boast side skirts, 19 inch AMG wheels, black mirrors/roof, and aggressive looking front bumper. If you are disappointed by the placement of the signature tri-star logo on the grill, then the Exclusive Line will still keep you happy, cause it will carry the signature emblem on the spot where you always wanted.
